Usually required by personal trainers, general public, volunteers etc.

CPR & AED (Level A/B/C)

Understanding how to activate EMS, perform CPR, and use an AED are essential lifesaving skills everyone should possess.
$50 per person
Usually required by dental clinic professionals, registered nurses etc.

Basic Life Support (HCP)

Basic Life Support training is aimed at healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, and others in the medical field who need CPR-HCP certification.
$60 per person
Usually required by the most workers aiming for OFA Basic like teachers, pharmacists, warehouse workers, railways, airlines, ferries/boats workers,office workers, volunteers, general public etc.

Emergency First Aid & CPR + AED [Level C (OFA 1 or Basic)]

Recognized as the WorkSafeBC Occupational Basic Equivalent, Emergency First Aid prepares individuals to handle emergencies in the workplace. The course combines practical training with hands-on exercises to build confidence in responding to critical situations.
$100 per person
Usually required by people dealing and working with children & home care/residential care like HCAs, daycare workers, early child educators and assistants, community workers etc.

Emergency First Aid Child & Community Care [Level B (OFA 1 or Basic)]

The Emergency First Aid Child & Community Care program is recognized as a WorkSafeBC Occupational Basic Level equivalent, designed for professionals in childcare, home care, or residential care settings.
$110 per person
Usually required by nurses, security officers, police officers, RCMP, RMTs, Physiotherapists, teachers, sports coaches, office workers, general public, community workers etc.

Standard First Aid [Level C (OFA Intermediate or previously level 2)]

Standard First Aid, equivalent to WorkSafeBC’s Occupational Intermediate level, is ideal for workplace requirements.
$140 per person

Usually required by personal trainers, general public, volunteers etc.

CPR & AED (Level A/B/C)

Understanding how to activate EMS, perform CPR, and use an AED are essential lifesaving skills everyone should possess. This training teaches you to recognize and respond to early signs of a heart attack, along with techniques for assisting a choking individual and performing CPR with multiple rescuers. CPR with AED provides the necessary skills to assist adults, children, and infants in emergencies.

Usually required by dental clinic professionals, registered nurses etc.

Basic Life Support (HCP)

Basic Life Support training is aimed at healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, and others in the medical field who need CPR-HCP certification. Along with all CPR-C level skills, participants will learn how to operate as part of a multi-person team, perform simultaneous assessments of breathing and pulse, provide rescue breathing independently, and use bag-valve masks.

Usually required by the most workers aiming for OFA Basic like teachers, pharmacists, warehouse workers, railways, airlines, ferries/boats workers,office workers, volunteers, general public etc.

Emergency First Aid & CPR + AED [Level C (OFA 1 or Basic)]

Recognized as the WorkSafeBC Occupational Basic Equivalent, Emergency First Aid prepares individuals to handle emergencies in the workplace. The course combines practical training with hands-on exercises to build confidence in responding to critical situations. Participants will learn life-saving skills, including CPR, AED usage, and managing airway blockages for all age groups. It also covers identifying and addressing respiratory and circulatory emergencies such as asthma, allergic reactions, strokes, heart attacks, and significant bleeding. The certification remains valid for three years. To renew, individuals must attend the full Emergency First Aid course again.

Emergency First Aid Child & Community Care [Level B (OFA 1 or Basic)]

The Emergency First Aid Child & Community Care program is recognized as a WorkSafeBC Occupational Basic Level equivalent, designed for professionals in childcare, home care, or residential care settings. It aligns with the Ministry of Health’s guidelines for child and residential care workers and includes CPR-B and AED training to handle emergencies involving adults, children, and infants. Certification for EFA Child & Community Care, including CPR-B and AED, is valid for three years. Renewal requires completing the full EFA Child & Community Care with CPR-B course.

Usually required by nurses, security officers, police officers, RCMP, RMTs, Physiotherapists, teachers, sports coaches, office workers, general public, community workers etc.

Standard First Aid [Level C (OFA Intermediate or previously level 2)]

Standard First Aid, equivalent to WorkSafeBC’s Occupational Intermediate level, is ideal for workplace requirements. This in-depth training program equips participants with first aid, CPR, and AED skills to handle emergencies confidently, whether for professional needs or personal preparedness. Participants will gain lifesaving skills such as performing CPR, using an AED, and clearing airway obstructions for adults, children, and infants. The course also covers responding to respiratory and circulatory emergencies like asthma, allergic reactions, heart attacks, strokes, and bleeding, as well as treating head, neck, soft tissue, musculoskeletal injuries, and other medical conditions. The certification is valid for three years. Occupational First Aid Attendants in British Columbia must complete the full Standard First Aid course for renewal. Other professionals, like lifeguards, can renew their certification through a Standard First Aid Recertification course.
